# on the A500 has no serial.device in ROM: AmigaOS loads it from DEVS:, so a
# JoeyLib program that opens the serial port needs it on the boot drive, and
# joey-run and the Amiga serial gate put it there. Cloanto still sells
# Workbench 3.1 (Amiga Forever), so it is never downloaded from a public
# source: it comes from the private bundle or `install.sh import`, which also
# finds it inside a Workbench .adf disk image.
